"Business Analyst – Index Data Team" based in Singapore

Job Role:
A banking/financial business analyst with experience working with data feeds from vendors such as Standard & Poors or Dow Jones,is required by our client; a global investment organization to join a growing team within their Singapore offices.  You will be required to work closely with relationship managers and portfolio managers on the end to end delivery of projects for internal and external clients.  Key focus will be on data collection, loading, testing and production. Basic knowledge of financial instruments will be beneficial to utilize your business analysis skills to build and manage market indices using index data from external platforms for clients. Each of the indices tracks the performance of a specific "basket" of stocks considered to represent a particular market.

Job Requirements:
Requirements include 3 – 5 years experience as a business analyst within a banking environment for a tier 1 bank or direct experience as a consultant for data vendors such as Standard & Poors, Dow Jones, Reuters or Bloomberg. Experience as a data analyst within an exchange such as SGX would be beneficial.

Experience with data loading, data quality and integrity checking as is UNIX platform experience, PERL scripting and SQL experience (stored procedures, tables etc).

Job Function & Responsibilities:
An experienced Virtualization Architect is required for a global roll-out for this prestigious investment group based in Singapore. The role will report to the Regional Windows Server Platform Manager

The role demands that the senior infrastructure technologist works well under pressure and can deliver towards tight deadlines. You will be responsible for architecting ESXi/ESX & vSphere 5 for a 10,000 + user environment spanning APAC, EMEA and Americas.

“IT Solutions Manager” – Permanent position based in Singapore with a telecom company.

Responsibilities:
·         Work with internal and external parties on the conceptualization of ideas, technical solutions and implementation of software into production environment.
·         Act as a primary interface for all change initiatives and work with the Strategic Planning team to gel the company’s business processes.
·         Assist internal customers by documenting requirements and ensuring that the proposed IT solutions meet business requirements & fit into the OSS/BSS architecture framework.
·         Review technical specifications and ensure that all requirements are captured and work with vendor on the User Acceptance Tests specifications.
·         Manage contacts and vendors to ensure deadlines are met upon successful project delivery.

Requirements:

·         Hands-on experience on Java, J2EE, SOA, JBOSS ESB, Spring, Hibernate and/or PERL.
·         Experience in designing B2B applications.
·         Hand-on experience in designing System API based on business processes.
·         Hands-on experience in the integration of System via Web Services.
·         Experience in server-side web interface development in any/all HTML/XHTML, XML JSPs, servlets, CSS, Web Services, JavaScript and AJAX.
·         Good understanding of telecoms or enterprise business processes, IT systems (e.g. CRM) and ITSM implementation.
·         Effective communicator – presentation, persuasion and collaboration.
·         Be resilient in pushing through system changes and gathering support to ensure prompt project delivery.
·         Able to manage vendors effectively.

“IT Manager (Network)” – Contract to Perm role based in Singapore with a global supply chain solutions provider.

Responsibilities:
·         You will be report and work closely with the infrastructure Group on regional projects.
·         Responsibilities will consist but not limited to the design and implementation of Network projects (servers and network), maintenance and procurement of network related equipments.
·         Assist Senior Manager in smooth Operational activities of mainly regional Network Operations.
·         Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's network security especially WAN and LAN network.
·         Additional knowledge of Servers group or Infrastructure and relevant Ops is an added advantage, but not a must.
·         Expertise in the area of network security (Firewall, IPS, IDS), IPLS/ MPLS circuits, bandwidth management / network monitoring / VPN.

·         Oversees all help desk activities at the regional level, and responds to escalated help desk issues.

Requirements:

·         Knowledge of Murex, including simulation, configuration of business data e.g. curves, generators, volatilities and the ability to analyse PL, Greeks by using Murex. Knowledge of OSP and related workflow queue, Murex EOD processing and Datamart are desirable.
·         Knowledge of Control-M and Unix Shell are useful.

Main Purpose of Job
·         Project Management and Technical Consulting Services delivery to predominantly oil refineries, petrochemical, gas processing, LNG and power plants.

Responsibilities:
Project Related
·         Sets/updates project targets reflecting contractual commitments.

Experience Required
·         Minimum 12 years of experience.
·         Corporate Member of Engineering Institute (e.g. IChemE).
·         Process plant experience with operator (ideally major energy or chemical company) or through onsite assignments.
·         Design package preparation experience with world class technology provider (such as ExxonMobil Engineering, SGS, UOP etc).
·         Consulting services delivery.
