Job Function:
This role is more customer focused & work closely with other Infrastructure teams to implement, track, and improve the Monitoring Service.
Manage a global team & ensure the Monitoring Services are deployed to the firm.
As Metrics and Monitoring Manager, you will be responsible for…
· Day-to-day operations and accountable for the associated budget.
· Managing a global operations and engineering team.
· Definition and reporting of service levels for the environment.
· Managing the licensing for the platforms, including growth estimates.
· Scheduling upgrades, patches, and uptime of the environment.
Job Requirements:
· 10+ years of work experience in IT Systems & experience in the Financial Industry.
· Strong expertise with HP Software in a production environment. Platforms include HP Openview Operations, HP Network Node Manager, Alarmpoint Enterprise, HP Business Availability Center, HP SiteScope.
· Sound experience with systems administration for UNIX or Windows.
Good to have experience with: HP Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB); HP Discovery and Dependency Mapping (DDM) software; EMC's ControlCenter (ECC); NetIQ; Microsoft SCOM; VMWare Virtual Systems.
