“Global Virtualization Architect” – Based in Singapore with a Global Asset Management firm.

Job Function & Responsibilities:

An experienced Virtualization Architect is required for a global roll-out for this prestigious investment group based in Singapore. The role will report to the Regional Windows Server Platform Manager

The role demands that the senior infrastructure technologist works well under pressure and can deliver towards tight deadlines. You will be responsible for architecting ESXi/ESX & vSphere 5 for a 10,000 + user environment spanning APAC, EMEA and Americas.  

As a virtualization evangelist you will responsible for assisting the regional platform manager in the operations of an estate comprising over 2500 server platforms and a number of technologies including but not limited to: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)VMware, XenApp, XenDesktop ESXi/ESX and vSphere 4/5

Job Requirements:

·         Planning/architecting, tuning, configuration and setup of XenApp/XenDesktop architectures.

·         Infrastructure design, implementations and project work

·         Installation, configuration and maintenance of Thin-client technologies

·         Creating appropriate documentation for deployment, configuration, and related processes around disaster/recovery of the Virtualization infrastructure
