“Principal System Analyst (Cognos / Qlikview)” – Permanent role based in Singapore.

Position
Partner with IT team members and the client community to deliver IT services that utilize underlying technology solutions in support of business objectives to improve productivity. Activities include consulting, analysis, interpretation, identifying trends and addressing corrective actions to the management. Responsibilities will primarily baseline IT process review and support, reporting and analysis duties and include leading and participation on project teams. This would include the ongoing maintenance, optimization, 3rd-level support and consulting. Accountability for the supported services.

Service & Solution Development:
Perform Business Intelligence (Cognos / Qlikview) analysis, design, and programming function (incl. consulting):

Responsible for design, architecture and implementation of IT services, IT systems or IT components following the defined BI process framework of complex systems and software in the own area.

System, Service and Solution Support:
Responsible to provide maintenance, optimization, innovation and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned solutions (Cognos / Qlikview). Troubleshooting system problems that have been escalated. Is taking over System Lead (and/or Software Lead) responsibilities for complex systems.

Project Activities:
Support goals by participating on Business Intelligence solutions project team. Deliver on assigned regional tasks and action items. Takes over Project Manager Responsibilities for mid size and/or large projects.

Technical/Organizational Focus:
Serve as an expert for existing systems or solutions on technical level and selected organizational aspects / e.g. processes, BI framework,...)in assigned area.

Documentation and BI Framework:
Understand the BI framework and follow defined processes. Determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities

Networking & Relationship Building:
Develop and Nurture proactive relationships within CoE BI, IS, Business and External Business Partners Regionally & Globally.

Years of leadership experience 4 to 6 years of leading projects

International exposure in daily business (> 50% of international business/customers /staff) > 4 years
