“Engineering Manager” – permanent role based in Singapore with World’s leading company providing engineering services & semisubmersible rig designs to the offshore oil & gas industry.

Job Function:

We are looking for a person that can manage the rig design and engineering activities in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate will have naval architecture background, be fully conversant with all aspects of hydrodynamic and structural analysis for floating offshore structures and be updated on the latest design software available in the market. Solid understanding of the other disciplines involved in the design process (including drilling) is required.

Job Description:

·         Manage the day-to-day activities of our design engineering team in Singapore.

·         Implement and maintain systems and tools to control the design process.

·         Take a lead role in further development of Company’s Engineering rig designs portfolio.

·         Take part in marketing and sale of rig designs and engineering services.

Job Requirements:

·         College / University, Bachelor’s Degree (or) College / University, Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture / Structural Engineering.

·         10+ years of relevant experience & should be working in the similar role for 3+yrs.

·         Proven track record from management of design engineering teams within the offshore industry.

·         Solid understanding of the overall vessel design process.

·         Leadership skills and management level experience.
