Description:
My client’s business revolves around building and supporting a new Terminal Operating Systems. We require a Java Lead Developer / Architect to lead our development team. This role is key to successful development, rollout and support of the project, and thus requires extensive enterprise architecture experience, as well as hands-on experience in managing remote development teams.

The role:

·         Define high-level architecture from requirements with experts, users and Business Analysts

·         Define, implement, elaborate, provide examples and govern on software frameworks that will enhance the stability, consistency and supportability of projects

·         Work with Business Analysts to understand and analyze the requirements

·         Identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate software architecture options and implement solutions

·         Analyze and create developer specifications from the inputs of the:

o    Business Analysts

o    Software Architectures

o    Software Frameworks

·         Lead the development team to create, test, deliver, implement and maintain the project

Job Requirements:

·         You must have a track record of projects in a Java environment, using SQL Databases and Application Server technologies.

·         Oracle DB and Weblogic Application Server architecture, setup and deployment experience, in a large environment, is a must

·         Proven practical experience in the application of the Rational Unified Process for projects

·         Experience with the use of UML tools for usable and supportable projects

·         You must have experience in leading development teams to create, test, deliver, implement and maintain projects

·         You must have prior experience in communicating, and successfully working with outsourced development teams

·         You must be able to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior level managers, directors and executives

·         You must have a great attention to detail, to ensure complete coverage of analysis

·         You may be required to make short business trips in the course of your work
