“Group IT Program Manager (IT transformation programmes – BPCS ERP Software)” –Permanent position based in Singapore for the world's leading Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Company specialized in fiber optic arena.

Job Function:
Responsible for ensuring the Group and Local IT programmes are managed and delivered in line with agreed scope, budget and timescales. The principle focus will be working with the operational teams to interpret the business programme requirements and ensure the effective prioritisation, support and delivery of IT capabilities to enhance the overall business and IT performance.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Overall Global IT programme management and coordination
·         Define and set the Group IT standards for managing and reporting programmes/ projects
·         Ensuring overall quality and timeliness of programmes and associated deliverables ongoing
·         Develop and manage both high-level and detailed project plans with associated tasks, deliverables, schedules and inline with agreed standards
·         Provide advice, guidance and support to operational teams on IT programme components
·         Work with operations/ external partners through the scoping/definition phase of projects
·         Co-ordination of internal team resources (functional and technical) on specific projects
·         Day-to-day client/ sponsor contact and management of ongoing projects   
·         Manage relationships with key external partners
·         Providing functional support on individual projects as required/ appropriate

Required Skills & Experience:

Key Skills & Competencies:
·         Strong strategic business programme management skills
·         Formal programme management methodology skills
·         Ability to define and apply quality and programme control tools
·         Visionary, with the ability to motivate, manage and inspire internal teams
·         Ability to analyse business issues/ requirements and balance operational priorities
·         Awareness of current/emerging operational/ market trends and issues
·         Strong communication skills and proficient networker/ relationship builder
·         Team player
·         Ability to operate and work with global teams

Program Management Skills:
·         Minimum of 7 to 10 years in a programme management role
·         Must have experience of managing complex IT transformation programmes
·         Experience of coordinating and managing disparate global programmes
·         Formal education in program management (for example Prince 2)
·         Excellent communication skills & Mandarin speaking is a MUST for this requirement.
