“Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer - C++” – 5 Permanent positions based in Singapore for the world's leading digital content company.

Job Function:

As a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on product development. In this role, you will work through all facets of software development: design, prototype, implementation, testing and documentation.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot source code of product features.

·         Under the guidance of architects, create high level software design documents and outline software solutions.

·         Prepare accurate implementation task lists / time estimates and deliver assignments as per functional specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

·         Work both independently and as an integral member of a high performance team.

·         Work with Product Design and deliver solutions that are innovative, functional and meet customer requirements.

·         Collaborate with software architects and developers worldwide.

·         Work closely with Quality Engineers in unit level testing and problem resolution.

·         Provide input to Technical Publications and review documentation of key features.

Required Skills & Experience:

·         Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

·         4 to 10 Years of Experience in developing mission critical C++ applications on Windows platform.

·         Strong expertise in object oriented design, design patterns, complex data structures and algorithms.

·         Experience in R&D with focus on developing, optimising and enhancing the company’s products.

·         In-depth knowledge of MFC and demonstrated UI programming of custom controls contained within dialog boxes, tool bars and menus.

·         Delivery of software leveraging COM. Experience with .NET a plus.

·         Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile.
