“Senior Product Development Engineer (AutoCAD)” – Permanent role based in Singapore with a top tier Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.

Responsibilities:

·         Generate design concepts and package drawings for initial Marketing proposals for new optocoupler devices.

·         Develop new lead frame design to support new product development in subcontractors using AutoCAD.

·         Support manufacturing and package development of optocouplers.

·         Perform yield analysis and back end process improvements through manufacturing subcontractors.

·         Provide remote debug and technical support to offshore factory and subcontractors.

·         Review all package/process related changes in the subcontractor with the Global Manufacturing Supply Chain (GMSC) Group.

·         Generating build sheets and assembly instructions for engineering runs.

·         Identify and verify qualification requirements with PL marketing and QA and provide risk assessment for new package development.

·         Work with Quality, GMSC, Subcontractor team, Foundry and Planning to manage process/assembly aspects.

·         Responsible for documentation of drawings and specifications of assigned processes.

·         Review the FMEA, OCAP and Control Plan of new packages and product devices.

·         Liaison with Safety Agencies such as UL, VDE on Safety Certifications and provide necessary documents.

Requirements:

·         Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Material), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.

·         Require At least 5 years of working experience in the related fields.

·         Strong background of semiconductor assembly processes and material science is a must.

·         Experience in new products/new package qualification activities.

·         Working knowledge with latest AutoCAD/Inventor Software and be able to interpret FEA result and make improvement on them.

·         Knowledge in yield management, datasheet generation, thermal analysis and reliability and quality standards.

·         Strong communication, computer skills, good people skills and written skills.

·         Ability to work cross functionally between several teams.

·         Candidate should be Singaporean Citizens or hold relevant residence status.
