Responsibilities:
· Manage the entire lifecycle of the product portfolio from the concept/product definition to the product phase out (product lifecycle planning) stages.
· Manage the product offering, quantity and price planning for the dedicated portfolio and product line(s).
· Represent the voice of the consumer - acquire insight to the needs/wants of different target consumer groups and derive the corresponding features and benefits.
· Conduct Market, Consumer and Competition Analyses (Trend- and Product-oriented) – clearly identifying areas of strategic opportunity.
· Balance all the elements of the marketing mix.
· Initiate and steer the product launch process.
· Support international sales partners and key customers in marketing and promotional activities.
· Successful and cohesive international cooperation with cross-functional teams - development, purchasing, quality, PR, marketing communications, sales and service.
· Provide relevant portfolio information and analysis for management reporting.
Requirements:
· Possess a Degree in Business or relevant discipline in Engineering.
· At least 5 years experience in the same capacity as a Product Manager.
· Proficient in Trends, Consumer Electronic Products and Design Specification and Selection.
· Market focused & customer oriented.
· International/global thinking.
· English native speaker excellent written English preferably bilingual.
· Located in Singapore but some travelling required.
· Quality awareness.
· Good leadership skills and able to work independently within milestones, towards long-term objectives.
· Creative, precise, eye for details.
· Able to create and position business justification to Management.
