“Data Network Specialist” - 2 Permanent positionS based in Singapore for world leader in the mobile communications market and wireless solutions.

Job Function:
As a member of the Data Network team you will become an integral part of a highly motivated, proactive and result driven team. You will be responsible for various aspects in network architecture and planning, such as design, documentation, testing and implementation.

You will have in-depth and comprehensive knowledge that will aid you in your ability to troubleshoot complex networks. You will posses strong technical capabilities that will be demonstrated consistently within the team, the IT organization, the company and through interaction with our vendors and partners. In this position you will support a mission critical infrastructure and be required to perform work in maintenance windows outside normal office hours and be part of a 24x7 on call rotation.

Required Skills & Experience:
·         Must have 7+ years of solid data network experience in a fast paced, multifaceted environment.
·         CCNP or higher level of certification.
·         Experience with equipment from vendors such as Cisco Systems and CheckPoint.
·         In-depth LAN experience including an understanding of VoIP and WiFi technologies.
·         In depth WAN experience including an understanding of MPLS.   
·         Good working knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
·         Experience in managing requirements for multi-homed internet environment. 
·         Knowledge of security concepts and working experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs and Firewalls.
·         Experience with Linux.
·         Experience working within a structured change management environment.
·         Proficient with MS Visio and MS Office.
·         Prior experience with Remedy preferred.
·         Ability to organize and schedule tasks.
·         Strong and effective interpersonal skills.
·         Strong team player, motivated self-starter and the ability to work autonomously.
·         Exceptional teamwork, collaborative and organizational skills.
·         Must be able to work independently under fast paced and at times intense conditions with minimal or no supervision.
·         Ability to liaise effectively with all users within the IT community and to assess their requirements.
·         A flexible approach to working hours, covering different time zones, as the business requires.
